Highlight and / or lowlights are weaved through the hair and placed in foils so as to cover approximately the top half of the head and areas most visible, including the top of the crown, front hair-line and temples. This can be done to add dimension or depth to an existing color, or to aide in blending grey hairs. It can also be used to lighten an existing color or blend and give the appearance of a brighter hair color. It is a double-process service, in that once the hair is lightened, it is then washed and toned so as to perfect and blend the colors to one's desired goal. This service is always followed with a professional blow-dry and style, which is included in the service.
This is a service where the hair is bleached from the roots, usually covering no more than 1" of hair. This is then followed by a toner and gloss, and a wash and conditioning and blow-dry service. It is a retouch service in that anything more than an inch of regrowth can be considered a color correction as it must be done in multiple steps to achieve a seamless result.
This is a service that primarily covers grey hair or changes a root color with color, not a lightening service. It covers 2 inches or less of regrowth. We will consult with you and find the exact colors we need to get your desired tone and apply this to your roots. When the color is fully processed and the desired tone is achieved we wash, condition and blow-dry your hair.
This service is chosen when there are multiple actions required of the stylist achieve the desired look and it is required to correct an unwanted tone or color or remove some previous color. It varies depending on the quality of the hair and what end result is required. It can range from a simple solution to a much more complicated series of actions over several sessions. Some lightening services that have gone past a regular maintenance is usually considered a color correction. It is priced per hour as it may require multiple tools of the trade. ($150/hour).
A gloss and / or toner service are often referred to as one and the same. They are semi-permanent, sheer tones or simply a clear gloss used to adjust tones in the hair or enrich the existing color. it adds shine to the hair and helps to fill hair cuticle. They can be used on natural hair or on previously lightened hair or to refresh a look. A gloss or toner will not lighten the hair. At our salon, we often use Redken Shades EQ Gloss and Cream. They are an ammonia free product and fairly gentle.
This service consists of subtly face framing balayage pieces around the face to brighten up one's profile. It is a service intended to provide only a subtle lift and a sun-kissed look. This allows for approximately 6-8 balayage pieces, followed by a gloss and toner and finished with a blow dry service.

You are welcome and encouraged to bring photos of your desired look, and we will always do a full consultation at the beginning of your service.
